I'm an award-winning cultural anthropologist, TedX speaker, global presenter, author coach, and master headwrapper from Detroit, Michigan.
For two decades and counting, I've collaborated with many universities, museums, entrepreneurs, and change agents. In addition to publishing close to 50 books, I've also created transformative exhibitions, travel opportunities, and training programs that tap into the power of culture. My goal is to create positive shifts in the beliefs and behaviors within our society.
My life’s work, and all the opportunities it’s given me, have taken me all across the globe. Throughout my career, I've been blessed to live and/or worked in Egypt, Morocco, Sierra Leone, Bermuda, Senegal, Indonesia, and the Emirates.
